More than just your average pizza place...
5 Buck Pizza - Rexburg is a franchise of the corporate company that is based out of the state of Utah. The franchise was started to give students an opportunity to become employed. The store in Rexburg, Idaho was opened in September 2010 by Lawrence Blackburn and Rick Hancock. Since that time another store has been opened in Rigby, Idaho.

The owners of these stores have come up with various new products to expand the dining options available to their patrons. Some of these ideas were great concepts, but they did not seem to stick with the customers. It seemed that what people wanted when they came to 5 Buck Pizza was a great product at an affordable price. One of the concepts that gave both of these things to customers was the introduction of the Bigfoot Pizza. The Bigfoot is a 20" giant. It is the biggest pizza available in the area. 5 Buck Pizza also offers a unique challenge for the Bigfoot Pizza. If a person is able to eat an entire Bigfoot by themselves within an hour, they will get their picture on the "Wall of Fame."

Another great idea that has worked for 5 Buck Pizza is their Sliders. These pizzas are 6" in diameter. They are great for families that have children or for people that are wanting to have a quick treat. Something of more importance that has been done with these mini pizzas is making them available to local businesses and organizations like schools and correctional institutions.

More recently, 5 Buck Pizza introduced their calzones. Once again, they are the only business in the area that offer such a menu item to their customers. Their calzones measure 8" in length and come in a selection of flavors.
